Agavero Cantina in Lilburn

We went for my brothers birthday. It was crowded and we had a pretty large party. They sat us as quickly as possible and kept us updated while we waited. The service, food, and festive atmosphere was a blast.

It was super nice, especially with the live music. The food was great. Big portions.

The food here was excellent. Nice atmosphere except for the guy that was singing. He sucked and also made it hard for our party to talk he was too loud. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. They have a very clean place. Restroom was also clean. Handicap accessible and handicap parking was available. Service was excellent. Prices were affordable and feel we got good value for the price.

Fresh food, good service, pleasant atmosphere!

I stopped in on lunch break because it was very close and had great ratings. I ordered the shrimp quesadilla and I'm not at all happy with it. The onions are entirely too sweet. There was literally only 1 piece of red pepper about 3 pieces of green pepper, plus a "chunk of pepper". Not too mention the quesadilla was not cut like most Mexican restaurants do. It's like eating a shrimp and cheese sandwich on a tortilla. I personally didn't care to much for the salsa but the chips are pretty good, kind of thin. Had a virgin mango margarita while I waited on my ordered, after about 3 sips it was gone and nothing but crushed ice was left, the bartender fixed it and it was definitely better. Although I can't say that I'd return for the food I would certainly be open to going back to try more Margaritas!!

The food here was delicious! The portions are very reasonable and the service was excellent! The prices are very reasonable too. I love the atmosphere. The pictures and decor give the cantina a very authentic feel. I can't wait to return!

I love this place. They have a Mariachi group band. All the food and drinks are great. Great atmosphere plus a great environment. A good place to chill at the bar have a margarita and watch the game. One of my favorite mexican restaurants. 💓

Very good food. Staff was very quick on seating Us and getting Our food to Us. They also made sure that We were practicing social distancing while We ate.

Use to be more attention to detailed by giving you all the condiments. Now you've got to ask or remind them it comes with the food.

Even as packed as the restaurant was on a Friday night, the service was quick and the food was soooo on point! The margaritas were Amazing!!! Not 1 complaint from my party.. Not 1.. and we'll DEFINITELY BE BACK!! awesome experience!

This is a regular spot for me in Lilburn. I consider it the only Mexican place worth visiting. I’ve never had a bad experience. The food is always fresh and fast, plus the service never disappoints.

We alaways ask for grace, she is the best. It was a busy friday night at 530. Food showed up 10min later. Had a friend meet us there. Our waitress put in a rush order for him. Came out in 5min.

This is probably my favorite Mexican restaurant besides Frontera. I always seem to come back here. The food and drinks are always good and they are friendly towards any other race. The service can get slow on a busy night but besides that great, inexpensive food.

Love coming to this place! Whether it’s coming here for to go lunch specials (which are amazing) to trivia on Monday nights (bring it!!!) or enjoying the Mariachi band on Thursday night we are always there!!! Ohh and the food. Yeah it’s pretty freaking good!!!

Good food. Service is ok. Drinks are good. Only 3 stars because every time I have come here they sit us in this dark room in the back where its freezing cold while there are no other people sitting in other areas. I feel some kind of way about that.

Tonight was a perfect night thanks to Agavero, I enjoyed my fresh margaritas as recommended by my server Ana. She is such a blessing to this place, my food was perfect and my servers Ana and Sebastian were on top of everything, their team work was impressive (they had at least 5 tables each and they knew exactly what each of us needed). Thanks guys for the experience, I will keep coming and will ask for you two.

We have been going to Agavero at least a couple of times a month since it opened. They serve consistently good food and offer very good customer service. The menu is more than adequate without being overwhelming and new items are occasionally added to complement old favorites. Draft beer is cold and refreshing. Agavero is a favorite place for a full evening meal or a quick lunch.

Love this restaurant. The food is good and the atmosphere is whimsical and fun. Luchadores and dancing and mariachi bands. Oh my! I highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our dinner at Agavero! We sat at the bar and the amazing Andrea mix d perfect margaritas. The service was first rate. The food was pretty good. We loved the atmosphere!

Was my 1st vist here. I thought it would be a long wait since the parking lot was full. To my surprise was seated right away. Restaurant was large than expected. They have a outdoor patio as well. Waitress took my order upon being seated. Wait wasn't long on food. Food was Delicious and Hot as well (temperature hot). Music played in the background. I would visit again.

Such a disappointment. I’m used to good service thanks to Grace or lately with Ana and her husband. But neither of them were there this weekend. I’m used to be treated like family rather than a tip. My server was rude and didn’t even acknowledged us for a long time. The “manager” was on his phone and didn’t help much and my food took more than 25 min.

Pretty sure our waitress forgot about us on the porch area..... very bad experience, however it was my first bad experience since I've been going there.

The 5 stars goes to our wonderful waiteress Camila. Such an angel no fuss with hubbys demands. Amazing food beans and cheese sauce was tad bit salty. So worth thr money. A must try.

Food was okay, not the greatest. Food didnt have flavor and some servers did not have masks. They did not really sperate people and there was a lot of large parties. Waitress, about 6, were all in the front talking and laughing and really didnt care much about social distancing. They were mopping the front area while people were coming in and out (VERY DANGEROUS) and the front tables are all filled with boxes of paper goods. Overall they need to be a bit more cleaner. Server was very short with us and seemed to be too busy to wait on us. Last time I came, before COVID things were run better and it was a lot cleaner.

Best CHILAQUILES I ever had in Georgia the food its tasty and always on point!! The BEER selection its great and the servers are super friendly but if you trying to watch a sport event you might want to go somewhere else because they dont have a great selection in channels !!!!

This place rocks! Someone recommended my wife and I go so we went on a Thursday and it was nicely packed. That's due to the mariachi band playing various songs like MY GIRL and others to enhance the mood. Oh and if you have a birthday the waitstaff all come out with wrestling mask on and sing for you. Great food and drinks and atmosphere. Try the taquitos below with black beans and rice and you'll be going back again and again!
